What is CrossFit?
By definition, CrossFit is a training method based on constantly varied, functional movements, performed at high intensity, but what does this mean?
By programming workouts which change every day and are made up of movements and skills across a broad variety of modalities, it allows us to prepare ourselves for almost any physical activity which life may throw at us.
Squatting, lifting, jumping, running, pulling, pushing are all movements which we need to function in our daily lives and as it happens, when programmed into a training regime, produce the most effective results.
By training these movements at a higher level of intensity (relative to each person’s capabilities), we improve our ability to get through more work, i.e. our ability to lift heavier loads, faster and longer.
CrossFit is available to all levels of fitness. You don’t need to be a supreme athlete to participate in CrossFit. In fact, many people who begin CrossFit cannot even do one push up when they start. The beauty of it is that everything is scalable. So,.whether you are coming off gold at the Olympics or off a lifetime exercise hiatus, we have a place for you.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a complete beginner to exercise, have tried CrossFit a couple of times or a seasoned athlete in your chosen field, we’d love to introduce you to our box.
We’ve updated our free week trial (includes 3 complimentary sessions) to incorporate a Foundations element that is introduced in a class environment.
What this means is we will guide you through all the movements, whilst applying modifications that will scale the program back to ensure you are working hard with good form. This way we can safely progress you through your CrossFit journey and get you to where we need you to be in order to safely perform and advance in the movements.
Our methodology allows our clients to start CrossFit at a time that suits them and this may suit your work schedule as well!
After the 3 sessions you can decide if CrossFit is what you are looking for and you can speak to one of our coaches to discuss membership and sign up options.
In order to prepare for your first session, we require that you email through in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org for the session you intend to attend and we can make a plan from there. We have classes at 6am, 6:45, 5pm, 5:45, 6:30.
